Description
Cynthia King Vegan Ballet Slippers is excited to announce the arrival of their newest cruelty free ballet slipper!
The REBELLE features 100% vegan synthetic split sole, lightweight stretch canvas,
pre-sewn elastics, u-shaped vamp, delicate cushion at the ball and heel, and enclosed stretch binding that
eliminates the drawstring.
Each order includes one complimentary reusable non-woven tote bag.
Suggested fitting:
For comfort fit try one to two sizes up.
For snug fit try US street shoe size to one size up.
The fit depends upon a variety of factors, including foot width, arch height, personal preference, etc. We recommend ordering multiple sizes and returning those that do not fit. Slippers in their original condition may be returned for a full refund (minus shipping and handling) within 60 days of the date of receipt.

These ballet slippers are excellent!! I wear street shoe size 8, ordered size 9 slippers, and they fit perfectly. They are very well made, comfortable, fit like a glove, and stay in place with the ideally placed crisscrossed elastic bands.

Thank you for offering vegan products to dancers! I’ve been in ballet for the past several weeks but have been avoiding making any kind of purchase because many websites are not completely clear what their slippers are made of. Luckily the class I’m in is super laid back and I was able to dance in my socks, however I have bruised my foot a couple of times and I’m looking forward to having some protection for my feet!
I’m a size 8, and I ordered a size 8 because I wanted them to be snug, and they are snug while standing flat, but a bit loose when I arch my foot. But that’s probably normal right? I’m a new dancer so I don’t have any other foot wear to compare these too, but they feel a bit weird. Of course that could just be me putting on ballet gear for the first time. So take this with a grain of salt.
I wish they were a bit more breathable as they made my feet sweat immediately, but so far, baby powder has helped with that. The only other recommendation I have is to include cleaning instructions on the tag. Are these washable? I don’t know!
Love the cruelty free stamp on the bottom. No one in my class knows I’m vegan yet… maybe the shoes will give me an opening?!
Thanks again!

Thank you for buying vegan shoes! Dancers like you are my inspiration! I also appreciate the feedback, you can spot clean your shoes with soap and water, but in the words of Cynthia King, “Dirty shoes are a great sign of someone who is working hard!”
As for “coming out” to your class, if the ballet slippers aren’t enough of a hint, I recommend the Dance Like a Vegan V-neck or flowy tank 😉

I love these ballet shoes and promoting compassion on the dance floor! I wear size 5 1/2 – 6 in street shoes. The size 6 ballet shoe I feel is a little bigger than the “snug” feeling I’d like. Next time I’ll order a size down.

Great slippers. These are the softest ones I’ve had so far, and they fit me perfectly. I recommend ordering 1/2 size up from your street shoe size.

I ordered 2 more pair, one pink, one black. The hall where I have recently begun practicing also serves as a stage & audience venue, so the black marley floors were blackening my beautiful pink slippers. Those slippers were purchased in March 2019, and are holding up very well. In addition, they have survived two recent soakings and machine washes in cold water to get the black out (air dried). Every time I put them on, I marvel at how well they fit, how ideally placed the crisscross elastics are, how well constructed and comfortable. Most of all, it’s wonderful that these slippers do not use the body parts of exploited and executed persons of other species. For their sakes, thank you to Cynthia King and Dance Like A Vegan for selling only vegan shoes!
